At Community Care Vic, we offer supported independent living (SIL), short-term (respite) accommodation, medium-term accommodation and specialist disability accommodation in the western and northern suburbs of Melbourne. Wherever you are, we can help you find a place to call home.

Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living, or SIL, is all about fostering independence while ensuring everyone has the support they need to shine in their daily lives. It's tailored support in a comfortable living arrangement, whether it's in a place you already call home, friendly shared accommodation, or one of our welcoming properties across Melbourne. We're here to help manage everyday tasks, from personal care to household chores, all while celebrating your independence and building a household community that feels like family. At Community Care Vic, SIL is your stepping stone to an empowering, independent life, surrounded by support and understanding.
Short-term (Respite)
Accommodation
If you need somewhere to stay on a short-term basis while your carer is on a break or while your family is on holiday, take a break wtih Community Care Vic. We offer short-term respite care for NDIS participants in Melbourne. Respite care can last up to 14 days, and in that time, you will be well taken care of in an inviting, homely atmosphere. During your short-term stay with us, you can meet new friends, enjoy recreational activities, and have some peaceful time to rejuvenate your soul. All meals and bedding are provided for and you will also have access to our professional support workers or nurses when needed.
Medium Term
Accommodation
Community Care Vic offers medium-term accommodation if you need a slightly longer stay in a place out of your regular home. This could be while recovering from surgery, while waiting for your permanent accommodation to become available, or just to have a change of scenery and experience something new. We would be delighted to have you stay in one of our homes specially suited to NDIS participants and fully staffed with experienced support workers and community nursing specialists. Whatever your needs, we are here to make your medium-term stay of up to 90 days as fun and comfortable as possible.
Specialist Disability
Accommodation
Through our extended network in the western and northern suburbs of Melbourne, we can secure you a place in specialist disability accommodation, even if you have high intensity daily living requirements. Specialist Disability Accommodation is specifically designed and built for people living with severe physical or mental impairment and who are in need of assistive technology, wheelchair ramps, automatic doors or other logistical requirements to allow them to live more comfortably and independently. Community Care Vic promises high quality housing that is welcoming and practical, and we walk you through the process so your accommodation needs can be met smoothly.
